Dr. Mitchell Dunn is a Forensic Psychiatrist who is the medical director of the forensic program at Terrell state Hospital. Dr. Deepti Vats is also a Forensic Psychiatrist working at Terrell State Hospital and is a fellow colleague of Dr. Dunn. She currently treats patients with criminal charges to restore competency to stand trial, especially those found criminally insane or NGRI (not guilty, reason insanity). Both have witnessed their fair share of interesting cases, one even being the well-known American Sniper Case that had involved the death of the US Navy Seal war hero, Chris Kyle. Throughout this mentorship, both have relayed their knowledge of the profession to me as well as showed me so much support.
