Weekly Report #18
1/21/19-1/27/19
This week was a bit less hectic than the last couple weeks leading up to the showcase. However, we were definitely soon back on track. We were introduced to the original work/semester presentation and had time to work on the original work/semester assessment, that really let me reflect on the past year and decide on what should be continued and what shouldn’t. For example, an updated calendar was something that had really worked well with balancing all my classes, so I will definitely continuing that. On the other hand, working on ISM right after getting home to be able to finish everything early was something that wasn’t properly implemented due to extracurriculars and prioritization of time, so I would need to come up with a new plan of action.
The goals for this week are to continue researching concepts to come up with a good original work project and begin practicing for the next speech. I will accomplish the first goal by searching up recent discoveries in the field of psychiatry or neuroscience, and seeing it in a forensic viewpoint. I will accomplish the second goal by setting aside thirty minutes at home every night this week to edit the powerpoint, practice my last speech, and to come up with what to say for the new part of the speech.
