Weekly Report 13
11/26/18-12/2/18
This week was busy spent making as many phone calls as possible in hopes of setting up interview dates and times. An over-the-phone interview took place on Friday, and it had added a new light to the original work. Dr. Kenneth Dekleva had suggested a potential project idea of researching and writing a report on hypothetical questions in court. This made me wonder if this was something that could either add to my original work or replace it, since the change was not drastically different, as it held the same idea of researching a major case and giving an in-depth report of the criminal involved. This had confused me, but it came down to wondering which project would be more interesting to commit to. There are still a few lingering questions about hypothetical questions that I hope to get answered in an interview next Monday with Ms. Deborah Miscoll. The goal of this interview is to gain sufficient knowledge of each so there is an understanding of whether I should continue with the current research or switch it a little bit.
The other goal for this week is to get more interviews with Forensic Psychiatrists or Psychologists. The aim is still talk to a few more of these professionals before narrowing the choices down. The plan to continue doing this is by calling or emailing five professionals every class period this week or until three in-person interviews can be secured.
