Weekly Report 6

This week was busy spent finishing up the assessment, updating the calendar to begin making calls, and continually perfecting the handshake. The topic proposal was also introduced and caused me to reflect upon prior assessments to think of what was especially intriguing. Currently, the specific topics in Forensic Psychiatry that seem to garner my interests are learning about the correlation between different mental illnesses and the effects that they have with each other and the environment. Based upon this, the goal for the week is to finally come up with a more solid and executable plan for the topic proposal. Hopefully, the personality tests that I plan to take help direct more attention towards an idea that is most fitting. In regards to the calls, the goals for the week are to call everyone on the list of contacts accumulated so far and hopefully set a date for an interview. With the upcoming Business Symposium and the practicing of handshakes with the adults in the community, I believe to be ready to take the next step in ISM.
In regards to the other duties to take care of, a goal is to work on the digital portfolio for thirty minutes everyday. Building a website is definitely taking a great deal of time, especially to create something that accurately represents Forensic Psychiatry and the passions that lie in it. However, the biggest thing to look forward to overall is Business Symposium, and I cannot wait to further build professional skills and learn from the experiences of these professionals. The hope is to be able to take their advice and apply it to the ISM journey.
