Take Two

Weekly Report #25

3/18/19 to 3/24/19

This week had been pretty stressful in terms of workload for other classes, so goals from last week were not able to be fully accomplished. I was able to continue research, but was not able to get to writing the questions. However, contact with both mentors has been made and a fourth mentor visit for this week has been scheduled for Wednesday morning to witness ECT with Dr. Vats. I am really looking forward to this visit, because I will be able to see how forensic psychiatrists and other hospital staff interact with patients and how they plan treatments for them.

My goal for this week is to finally finish the research and come up with questions to ask the patient for final product. The goal is to work on research for 2 hours everyday this week from Monday to Wednesday, and reduce it to 1 hour for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Free time at HOSA state for the last two days of this week will be utilized as much as possible so that the goals for this week are met. The second goal for the week is to speak to Dr. Dunn about plans after he leaves for vacation. The goal is to either catch him sometime during my mentor visit on Wednesday, but if this does not occur, I will call him sometime this week to discuss my final product and how completing it will go about with Dr. Vats.
